Content Writing Secret and Tips

Content is a king of a website that should be more accessible to visitors with quality and relevant information. Content writing is specialized style of writing, which differs slightly from news, articles or Journalistic styles. Following are few secret and tips to write great content:
  • Content should be informative and related to your website's nature.
  • Focus on your visitors. They will like only if it has something to offer them.
  • Choose a simple and impersonal style as your reader not judging your knowledge, they just want full information. Write informally, where possible!
  • You have less time to impress your visitor so write attractive content so they can stay on your website for long time and do some click, sale or lead whatever you want from them.
  • You should know to select topic, research for relevant keywords, evaluate the market and target audience, write interesting copies, and promote content on social media and finally evaluating its performance to change if not work.
  • Research is your key to an effective piece of writing.
  • Read/browse the website/blogs/articles online related to your content and first gather resources to usee as reference material.
  • Don't try to copy someone else. Your content should have an individual style that is unique to your personality or brand.
  • Style is your most prized possession as a writer, and it should continue to evolve over the lifetime of your career.
  • You start out reading and studying the styles of writers you admire. Then you use what you learn to develop your own style.
  • Every piece of content has a TOPIC (a subject of discussion or conversation), a POINT(a major idea), and a SLANT(a specific point of view).
  • Make the first sentence or headline your best. Your headline and first sentence should take the reader smoothly to your main point. But do say something that makes people pay attention.
  • Always ensure to put the most important information first followed by the less important ones.
  • Break your website content into small paragraphs with impressive sub-headings.
  • Your readers don't want to waste time on content that isn't accurate and trustworthy. So the rules are: no hype and no stretching the truth.
  • Tell your readers what to do, avoid the passive voice and keep the flow of your pages moving.
  • Typo and spelling errors will move always your visitors and trust of search engines.
